Meet the Chef 

Johan Leclerre,

Rochelais, is the grandson and son of a fisherman. From cook-sailor even fisherman...

For Johan, the vocation of cook was born in this way, in these moments of sharing when the family was finally complete.

Elected Meilleur Ouvrier de France Cuisine in 2007, November 1999 Elected 8th Grand Chef de Demain guide Gault et Millau, and in November 2000 Elected Chef of the Poitou-Charentes region.

Rewarded after a gastronomic journey

To follow Jean Michel and Michel Lorain , and 1995 Troisgros in Roanne, Pierre and Michel Troisgros , he left to finish his career before settling on his own, at Alain Ducasse's Louis XV in Monaco.

Johan LECLERRE is located in the heart of the historic district of La Rochelle, at the foot of the two towers, place de la Chaine with his restaurant "La Bella dona", there is also one in Aytré.

It was on the occasion of the competition organized by the Qualities of Marennes Oléron Oysters group, that Johan Leclerre, sponsor of the latter, launched the theme of the competition "The oyster comes out of its shell".
